Exclusion is Your Business (Harry Styles Music Videos Pt. 1)

Updated: Jul 7, 2023

On November 8, 2017, Harry Styles released the music video for his song “Kiwi”.

The video is basically a food fight amongst many children.

One of the children in the video has Down Syndrome.

Harry, I think having disability representation in a music video is great, especially early in your solo career. With that being said, I don’t understand why you don’t have any wheelchair user representation.

Wheelchair users are not hard to find. I personally believe you have to not look for us to not find us.

Also, there needs to be more wheelchair user joy shown to the world. Speaking as a wheelchair user, a lot of the time we’re assumed to be these helpless, miserable people. But we have fun.

Disabled kids in wheelchairs can interact and play with other children.

Wheelchair users deserve to be shown out in the open. Stop excluding us.
